Coworker may have touched 1 month olds hand? she was asleep and we tried to drive as fast as we could to get home to clean them. is this an exposure for pertussis or flu? what should we do?

Do not worry: Unless the person who touched the baby had flu with fever runny nose etc, touching the baby would not be a a cause for concern. Pertussis is not transmitted by touching. Get the baby her vaccinations as recommended by your pediatrician Wish you and your baby good health!

Nothing: just calm down, your newborn has enough immunity acquired from the mother for about 6 months of age, start your vaccination schedule on time and keep the follow up for the well baby visits with the pediatrician, enjoy your baby
