Prednisone: Low doses of prednisone may be safely taken even if you have recently had a tattoo. The caveat is to make sure the tattoo and surrounding skin did not develop changes such as redness or discharge that may indicate an infection. If there are concerns, be sure to check with your provider who prescribed the prednisone.
