Opthamologist prescribed postop prednisone eye drops to use after my closed angle laser treatment 4x/day for 4 days. i am scheduled for an adrenalectomy 6 days after the eye surgery. will steroid eye drops interfere w/my adrenalectomy or is it safe?

The postop prednisone eye drops should be used as prescribed. I am not sure what you mean by the eye drops interfering with your adrenalectomy because it is unlikely to stop them from doing the scheduled surgery; however it is important to let your physician know about the use of ophthalmic steroid because it could still be absorbed into your body and may just have to be factored into what is.
