Yes, may need more!: I recommend all adults take 5000-10,000 iu of D3 daily during fall and winter months (it's possible to get adequate D from the sun in spring/summer but take year-round if you don't get much sun). Optimal blood levels are 50-80 and that's the dose most need to attain those levels.One must take 40,000 iu/day to become toxic! Take K too!
