Other options: Constant (more than a few weeks) runny nose may be a sign of many types of nasal inflammation. Antihistamines are essentially only helpful for nasal inflammation from allergy. Current guidelines suggest that anti-inflammatory nasal sprays alone are more successful for chronic nasal inflammation than oral antihistamine alone. Please discuss whether this option might be appropriate for your children
