Ultrasound risks: Like any other medical procedure, there are risks and complications associated with ultrasonography during pregnancy. If the procedure is indicated for medical reasons, the benefits outweigh the risks on most occasions. Your healthcare professional will have to determine for you whether or not doing another ultrasound just to determine fetal gender is indicated or not.
