Bites: I believe that this appearance at the site of the bite is nonspecific and can occur with bites from different insects. It is due to minor amounts of pus and/or serum accumulation after a few days. If there is no spreading redness, significant secondary bacterial infection isn't likely. Keep the sites clean and apply an antibacterial ointment like bacitracin.
