Miscarriages happen: Many pregnant women miscarry (it's a normal part of life). One of nature's jobs is to get rid of pregnancies where the baby embryos or feti have abnormalies. A women can repeat a home pregnancy test in 2 weeks, to see if there is still a pregnancy. If a woman has repeated miscarriages, her Ob-Gyn doctor can help find out if she has a disorder that makes her more likely to have miscarriages.

Maybe: It is possible that this is the beginning of the miscarriage process, however, it is not uncommon for women to bleed early in the pregnancy and go on to have a full term normal delivery. Go see a OB MD for further evaluation.
