Yes.: It is indeed possible to have more than one kind of cancer. One of the most common types of cancer is skin cancer. Many people with internal organ cancers may have had skin cancers. When a person has cancer, if a new tumor develops at another site, it may be necessary to biopsy the new tumor to decide if it is a "metastasis" / spread of the known cancer or a new kind of tumor altogether.
