Yes, usually: The reason that it may be more difficult to heal two types of cancer is that they may be in difficult locations and it may require different modes of treatment.For example, one cancer may be in the brain and the other in the foot.Physically being at such a distance may require 2 separate surgeries. Furthermore, different cancers may require different chemotherapy.More chemo makes it harder to heal.
