Many: There are many different types of cancers that can develop from many different organs. Some of the general categories are carcinomas (cancers of epithelial organs like colon, breast etc), sarcomas (cancers of connective tissue like bone, muscle), leukemia / lymphoma (cancers of blood and lymph nodes) and others.
