I was admitted to the hospital/diagnosed with walking pneumonia 5 days ago and started having severe symptoms 3 days prior. i am on antibiotics but still have large spot in right lung and still very symptomatic. when can i start work (i am a tutor)?

Hard to say: The effect of pneumonia on each individual varies from almost nothing to death. Their recovery also varies with the germ and response to treatment. If you were hospitalized, you are likely to take longer than someone who wasn't. When you can resume your normal morning activities, take meals, concentrate and communicate without tiring for 4 or more hours you may be ready for limited work.
