I am a dental hygienist and was just told that i have a small area of pneumonia on my chest x-ray and was prescribed an antibiotic. can i go to work?

Pneumonia: As long as you are feeling up to it , don't have a fever , trouble breathing or a severe cough and you started taking your antibiotic, you should be able to work. As a hygienist i'm sure you wear a mask when seeing patients. Good luck!

Yes & No: Depends on the extent. Ask your physician if you can and what precaution you need to do (the type of mask may make a difference).
