Hi! i had an operative hystoroscopy, hymonectomy and got the mirena on the 18th of oct. there is still light bleeding and sometimes discomfort. is it normal.m? and is it safe for me & hubby to have sex again? will it be sore? im scared!

Pain after surgery: By now, the hymenectomy area should have healed, and the Mirena should be in place and not causing severe cramps. Intercourse can be tried, but be prepared for some discomfort at first, which will soon disappear, especially if your husband is mindful of the possible discomfort, and goes slowly.
