A member asked:

My retainer doesn't fit and my orthodontist can't see me for until next year, is it possible to fix it myself?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Not a DIY project. Ill fitting retainer usually means it was not worn enough and teeth/gums/bone have shifted. Important you see your Orthodontic Specialist ASAP. Call and see if they can manage to see you sooner than next year.
