Chest pain/breathing: If one is sitting and not taking deep breaths, the lung (like a balloon which has lost some air) will collapse a little, and the surface is "sticky", so when the wall folds, a deep breath will inflate the whole lung, which causes what is called "pleuritic pain", which can be quite sharp...breath in slowly, and the pain will go away....the lung surface has many pain nerves .
