A member asked:

Are genetic medicines always as reliable and effective as the trade name version? i'm trying to reduce medication costs - considering switching out molipaxin for generic trazadone.

Generic or genetic?: Assume you are referring to generic medications versus brand name. Although they are usually equivalent - there can be some differences. The amount of active agent isn't always identical and sometimes a person can react differently depending on what the carrier is.

Generic: They are generally within 90% of the non generic equivalent .Trazadone is an old generic and should be perfectly satisfactory
