Simply Stated: Most every food you eat also has some fluid in it. Your digestive tract separates out the fluids starting in your small intestines but mostly in the large intestine and then the fluids are filtered by your kidneys to remove impurities and excess fluid both of which become urine. Some foods are higher in liquid content than others and some are more liquid than solid, especially fruits.
