NotEnoughInformation: Tan colored stools may be normal but the pain in left sided abdomen may need to be checked.Depending of it's location it may be problem with colon,kidneys,ovaries etc.I will advice to get it checked by doctor if it persists.We don't have enough information like any other co existing symptoms,intensity/location of pain/any relation to your periods etc,to tell you what it could be.Get it checked
