Hard to say: But if itrazonazole is a recently introduced drug, you should consider stopping it for a couple of days then resume it to see if the same symptoms occur. However your current symptoms may be from an infection (viral more likely), a drug reaction, or even food poisoning. Only time will tell but be sure to contact your doc if it persists for more than 3 days or gets much worse.

Diarrhea.: Could be the beginnings of a flu. Or gastroenteritis. Or food-borne illness. Or infectious colitis. I’d imagine you could still take your Itraconazole as I wouldn’t think it would be causing these symptoms, but you should visit with a doctor if these symptoms last more than a couple of days and you should definitely get to the ED if your symptoms acutely worsen.

Call prescribing Dr: Do not take any more itraconazole until you speak with the prescribing physician. The symptoms you are prescribing may be side effects from this drug. I suggest telling your prescribing physician you would like to be examined as soon as possible to check on this and other possible causes of your symptoms such as flu or food poisoning.
