A member asked:

Would a damaged liver worsen the effects of alcohol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely: Alcohol is a toxin. If your liver is already injured, using alcohol can make this worse. However, a damaged liver should worsen the effects of alcohol elsewhere in the body (such as getting drunk more easily).
