‘Sleep hygiene’: First thing to do is maximize optimum sleep environment- no excessive bedding, breathable sleepwear, cool temp in room, dim lighting at bedtime, minimum noise to disturb baby’s sleep, less night feedings if possible. If these fail, may need Peds to intervene with a sleep soecialist

Nasal Hygiene: warm bath before bed, blowing nose & using Saline or Xylitol Nasal Spray. Consult a Pediatrician, ENT & Pediatric Dentist to discuss a Sleep Study & evaluate for restricted tethered oral tissues such as lip and tongue ties which can cause multiple problems including poor sleep. Mouth breathing can be related to enlarged tonsils & adenoids which should be evaluated. Hope this helps!
