Common sense...: Normal exercise with sweating isn't likely to harm your baby. Your body is very good at maintaining the correct temperature during exercise. I wouldn't recommend it but woman have run marathons while pregnant with no ill effects on baby. Don't let your pulse exceed 120, drink lots of water when you are in the heat. Use common sense and you and your baby will be fine. Best wishes!

Pregnancy & heat: The fetus is well insulated in amniotic fluid and your body has a mechanism for "cooling off" called perspiration. albeit not as efficient as the non pregnant state. Temperature exposure to excessive heat can cause dehydration in pregnant women which is characterized by dizziness, rapid pulse, and in severe cases an absence of sweating. Use caution when exposed to excessive heat.
