Can i eat cold pepperoni the prepackaged kind? im 12 weeks pregnant & worried about listeria and nitrates but really really want some pepperoni... not worth harming the babies though?

MATTER OF CHOICE: I don't see how the theoretical dangers of listeria and nitrates could harm a 12-week fetus, but since you have an OB, why not let him/her make the decision? Perhaps he/she is more aware of the dangers than I..... Mmmmmm.
