Fibroid management: If the fibroid is producing heavy bleeding or pain that interferes with your activities of daily living then removing the fibroid may be a consideration. (myomectomy). If not, your symptom complex and tolerance for discomfort will be your guide. Hysterectomy may not be an option as post-menopausal women produce less estrogen that can feed the fibroids growth.
