NSAIDs : Non steroidal anti inflammatory meds( NSAIDS) are the mainstay for arthritis pain.If one is not working another one can be tried. Pain topical creams can be helpful. For persistent arthritic pain injections of steroid in the back (LESI's) may be helpful. Check w/ your orthopedic surgeon for treatment options. Best of Luck!
