A course of good Ant: Unless you have previously/recently used a good antibiotic, Pyridium is not a good drug to control active UTI. Moreover it can give unpleasant side effects like you have listed above. You may need to go see a new physician who can give you an antibiotic recommended for UTI (Pyridium is more of an antiseptic), so it is unlikely to adequate clear your UTI.
