Currently having an oral herpes and taking valtrex my blister seems do not pop it been 5weeks already.the doc check visually only. what should i do? i want to do a test and change doc because i am not convince in his verdict. any suggestion

Probably not herpes: No herpes outbreak can last 5 weeks; even without Valtrex or other treatments, it should have healed within 2 weeks. It may have started as herpes, but now something else, such as a bacterial superinfection (e.g. with strep or staph). Your idea of getting a second opinion from another doctor is a good one.
