You may be: missing something more serious when a "cold" lasts for two weeks. Regardless of how you feel, you should go get checked out.

Wait: Cold can last for 3 weeks. If you have no fever, no severe cough, no productive sputum, and no yellow-green exudate coming from nose, then I would wait. Otherwise check in with MD
