Tests for thromcyt: I would ask if taking aspirin or other drugs that do it. Then make a choice of which tests to do. Why? because they will tell me what is going on.

Recheck platelet cou: Serial platelet counts is all we check till the counts recover. tell us the actual platelet count...then we can advise you better. If the platelet count is more than 100, 000, then we stop to worry about it.
