Lung tissue scarring: It is associated with scarring of tissue at the top of the lung.

Means: Scarring of the apical portion of the lungs. This can occur due to dust inhalation or idiopathic or due infection like PTB . Skin TB test and TB gold quantum test may be indicated to rule out latent TB

Pulmonary : Pulmonary fibrosis is a chronic disease of the lungs manifested with shortness of breath. Pulmonologist visit is necessary

Fibrosis: Is scarring of the lung, the lung apex(apical) is the upper part of the lung. Symptoms, if any, depend on the severity. Scarred lung is nonfunctional, so the more scarring, the less total lung function. A small amount will have no impact. Fibrosis is irreversible and there are a multitude of potential causes. The only treatment would be for any active process that is causing the fibrosis.
