An accessory: navicular bone is an anatomic variant commonly found on foot xrays. There are several types, the most common type is usually an incidental finding , causes no symptoms, and requires no treatment. However, other types may cause symptoms and require treatment/surgery. Without seeing the xrays or report, can't tell which type you have, so best bet is to talk to your doc.
