Infection: that could be new or very old (healed) and benign (like cold sore) or more serious. If not growing or painful, just apply heat and otherwise don't mes with it. It will probably go away. If not, or if you are of Asian descent, should probably get it checked.

Lymph node: Probably related to body protection by draining sites of local infection such as a boil or infected cyst.I would not worried about it as it will gradually disappear

I don't have a fever, rash, swollen lymph nodes, cough or headache. Have a minor sore throat for about 6 days now and a bit of nasal drip. clears up when I drink hot tea. Should I be afraid of HIV or am I just having a bout of anxiety? Not@ risk btw.
