Have a school in: n mind? If so, ask the school for referral for testing. If not, see a psychologist for formal testing of your learning strengths and weaknesses. Be sure to bring any old elementary and high school records you may have . Once you have a diagnosis, be sure to avail yourself of the programs offered at every school for learning disability. Remember LD does not mean low ability it means different learning style. Many very accomplished people, for example, cannot read.

Pause for a moment: You will be able to perform your best when you are well rested, well nourished, in a comfortable setting and free from illness.Stress/poor sleeping habits/erratic feeding can all lead to what you report and might be something you could improve.A good checkup can help exclude illness. If nothing helps, an educational psychologist can do specific learning tests.

Psychological testin: I would make an apt for psychological testing to identify a possible learning disability-they would then choose appropriate tests to identify an possible pbms
