Eustachian tube: Sounds like eustachian tube dysfunction, inability to equalize pressure through the middle ear. Treat allergies with otc's like Claritin and/or fluticasone nasal spry and try saline spray twice daily. If ears feel very uncomfortable, see your local otolaryngologist (ENT) for additional treatment.

In addition...: You can try using oral decongestants like pseudophedrine and topical sprays such as afrin (oxymetazoline) for 2-3 days while trying to gently autoinsufflate your ear (pinch your nose while keeping your mouth closed and blow). If this does not work see your local ENT as suggested.
