I've been taking fenofibrate 300mg for almost two weeks now because of having high triglyceride. i still feel weak and lightheaded. why is that?

Find a better DR: Unless your triglycerides are extremely high [over 800?] there is little on no benefit from a fibrate. They seemed to be a good idea, but do not prevent pancreatitis or cardiovascular events. The American Heart Ass'n and American College of Cardiology no longer recommend them. STATINS are used if there are cardiac risk factors. WHY is your triglyceride elevated? How high? Watch for alcohol, diabet
