Frequency: How frequent? Is it related to the position of the hands? Change in the color?

Neck problem: Is the most common cause. Many people get numb hands when their head is in the same position for a long time; cyclists (who extend their necks), people who stare at phones for hours with necks flexed, and routine tasks like doing dishes also. If this happens again, take a break and stretch your neck and arms! If it happens repeatedly, you may need to be worked up, see a doctor!
