CTS: Numb hands and cramping are characteristic of carpal tunnel syndrome. Not only does the nerve that give sensation to the hand give the characteristic numb sensation, but cramping is another complaint. See your hand specialist and get a nerve conduction study (EMG) to see if that is the problem.
