Plantar Fasciitis is: the most likely cause of your discomfort. It affects about 10% of the population and can last more than a year in severe cases. Physical therapy can be effective especially if done before you get out of bed. Plantar Fasciitis: This sounds like classic plantar fascia pain. The best course of action is NSAIDs (Ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve), stretching exercises, and heel cups. You can easily google plantar fascia exercises and get some great stretches.
