Can you get empty nose syndrome without turbinectomy? had fess 3 weeks ago. third in last 4 yrs. dr said he only removed polyps near middle turbinate.

So called: "Empty Nose Syndrome"(ENS) is seen after extensive turbinate reduction not after the simple removal of nasal polyps! Hope this is helpful Dr Z
