Ok to stop: Ok to stop Prozac 20 mg after 4 days (4 doses). However, let prescribing doc know and why you want to d/c this med. You many be having side effects that are good to document. A lower dose or alternative meds may be considered.

Although Prozac: can be safely stopped at this dosage/ duration of treatment - would recommend that you promptly discuss with your prescribing medical provider.

You can stop but why: You can stop meds without concern about withdrawal but why would you want to do that. The med was prescribed for some symptoms most likely significant depression . If there are side effects , another med may work better. There is also therapy. Please discuss with your doctor before you give up on treatment.
