A member asked:

I was wondering how many of the symptoms for hypogonadism should be present for it to be a real concern. i am 32 years old?

Not the number: It’s up to you. Only you can decide when to seek treatment for hypogonadism. Even one symptom, if Severe enough, would cause many patients to seek evaluation and treatment. Common symptoms include fatigue, depression, infertility, erectile dysfunction and decreased vitality in general. Many men find that just one of these symptoms are enough to seek treatment. It’s up to you!

Would be rare at your age. Go to uptodate.com and read “The Basics” about hypogonadism and then read “Beyond the Basics”. Take notes, compare to how you feel and share with your Dr. You will need a careful physical exam and maybe some blood tests.
