Certainly: Any medication that is strong enough to do good is strong enough to do bad. Side effects can and do injure patients every year. The need for or benefit from any ADD medication is very individualized, but most with true ADD benefit from these stimulant meds. You can have other problems at the same time, & medical treatment requires fine tuning, usually by an experienced psychiatrist.
