Whereas some UTIs will clear up on their own aided by increased oral fluids, most will require an antibiotic. Vaginitis or other vaginal pathology can also cause similar symptoms. If symptoms persist, recommend urinalysis, urine culture, possible STD screening, and a pelvic exam

Could be: Due to infection or trauma during the intercourse. If pain is improving, it may resolve with use of oral analgesic. If it persist see your doctor
