What can i give a 21 month old with croup. i have aspelone and celestamine and pulmicort and atrovent at home.

Several options, but: This is a forum for general information, not specific medical care or advice. A person with 4 corticosteroid drugs at home should call his doctor, because normal healthy kids would not have these drugs at home. Mild croup can be treated with cool moist air and a happy home (avoid crying). Bad croup is treated by an ambulance ride to the ER, oxygen, vaporized epinephrine plus a steroid injection.

Don’t go it alone.: Has this diagnosis of croup been made by a medical provider, or did you come to this diagnosis on your own? I ask because I’d rather see diagnosis and treatment rendered by a medical provider who conducts a thorough history and physical examination, especially on such a young child.
