Ask the company.: Safe listening volumes are essential for preventing damage to the ears hearing mechanism. Subliminal messages are not meant to be consciously so you can't listen to them and still be considered subliminal. The earphones are necessary if the messaging is programmed to be heard with two ear pieces.
