I was listening to music in my car and somehow the stereo short circuited and started blasting the music at max volume. it sounded like an explosion in my car. now my hearing feels muffled and dampen and my ears hurt a little. is my hearing damaged?

Noise damage: Hopefully the damage is only temporary. Tinnitus or ringing in the ear may also occur. For evaluation and advice consult an Otolaryngologist if gradual improvement doesn't occur.
