PT again.: Assuming there’s no new pathology in that shoulder since the surgery, such as post-traumatic arthritis or adhesive capsulitis, it wouldn’t to double-down on physical therapy. Sometimes you just need more physical therapy to reap continued benefit.

How much?: If you are still pretty severely limited 6 months after an arthroscopic Labral and rotator cuff repair, you need to discuss directly with your surgeon. If you are not satisfied with the answer, consider a second opinion and possibly some repeat imaging studies.

What procedure?: What procedure was done? The labrum is known for its poor ability to heal. It doesn't have to fully heal for you to have a reduction in pain or improvement in function, but an 80% tear is a large one. You may not improve significantly without surgery to repair/debride the labrum and possibly treat the adjacent biceps tendon. If I can help, then join my care team- www.healthtap.com/dr-clarkeholmes
