I had a revel loop recorder implanted 2 months ago but still have not received a transmitter so nobody is monitoring me?

Remote monitoring: Modern reveal devices have remote monitoring. The device is equiped with a memory chip to record lot of examples of your heart rhythm (if you have abnormal ones). Sometimes patients are also given a Patient Assistant Model so that they can push a button to mark in time when they have symptoms.

Transmitter inside: The implanted loop records have a battery life of about 2 years & a built-in transmitter. Your doctor has the antenna with which they can receive the data, when you go in for a follow-up visit. You ARE being monitored (by the implant) but neither you nor your doctor will know the data until it is downloaded. So keep up your diary - mark all "events" that you notice. Data without symptoms = useless
