Should i still be experiencing pain 4 weeks after a loop recorder implant? i keep getting sharp stinging pains at the incision site and it's annoying.

Check with surgeon: If one is still having symptoms 4 weeks after implanting a loop recorder, she can visit her surgeon again for a follow-up exam. The surgeon can check to be sure the wound has healed well, without infection nor excessive reaction to any sutures (stitches). If all looks well but pains persist, then the doctor can advise on pain treatment (for the implant area).

Loop recorder: Don't be annoyed, seek clinical help. Something may be wrong with this implantation.
